The Red Cow Inn

We had a Saturday dinner booking at 6pm for six adults and one child. The food was excellent, with good portions and plenty to choose from on the menu. Service at the table was pleasant and helpful. It's a lovely old pub restaurant in a nice village, with lots of parking. We'll definitely return, highly recommended.

We stopped at The Red Cow for lunch and found a proper gastropub with delicious food. There were good choices for the kids too, and everything we ate was fantastic. It was one of our best lunches recently. I'd like to come back when we're in the area.

The only small downside was the beds: they were quite firm and the springs made a lot of noise. Otherwise, it was a great stay. The rooms were very clean, well equipped, and had good facilities. Having accommodation right at this fantastic pub and restaurant worked perfectly for us. The food was amazing, and there was a strong menu. They run themed evenings like steak or curry night, while still letting you order from the regular menu. I'd highly recommend it.

We only stopped for a drink, so I can't say anything about the food or rooms. We spotted the pub while driving through a small village, and it looked lovely from outside. The three drinks, a large pino, a large shiraz, and a pint, came to £27.80. When I asked what the red wine was, the staff member showed me the Mcguigans black label shiraz bottle, which sells for around £7.50. I found the drinks a little expensive, and left disappointed by the prices. I'm sure the food is fab.
