The bed was a little softer than I like, but I still slept fine. The room was large and well appointed, with plenty of USB charging sockets and the usual tea and coffee facilities. Staff were really polite and friendly.

Check-in was easy, and the room was functional, just as expected. There are USB charging points on both sides of the bed. Most plug sockets were blanked off, apart from the ones by the TV and desk, where there were more USB points. The single panel heater worked well and was easy to adjust. No heating in the bathroom.

There’s a 24hr McDonald’s opposite, which came in handy when my husband and I were still peckish after a wedding at Bourton Hall. The hotel was a perfect base for the wedding, just a short Uber ride from the venue. It was clean, the beds were comfy, and reception staff were pleasant.

The staff were incredible and so helpful. If the room had AC, it would've been five stars.

The gentleman at reception gave me a very nice welcome. I had no complaints about the cleanliness.
