Tuppenhurst Barn

The canal is only a short walk away, and with the secure dog field and outdoor seating for warmer days, it’s a great place to stop with a dog. Inside, everything was immaculately clean, and the toilets have plenty of room for a wheelchair and transferring. The cakes are generously sized and spot on. They have boxes for taking any leftovers home, though I’d order early because they’re so tempting that they sell out quickly. I’ve tried several things from the menu and nothing has disappointed. The food is delicious, and the staff are amazing, always making you feel welcome and doing their best to meet special requirements.

The cafe is bright, fresh, clean, and dog friendly. The cakes are so good I’d give them more than five stars if I could. We’ve also ordered birthday brownie towers for personal celebrations, and they were happy to accommodate our requests. Communication throughout was wonderful. You can tell the staff really care about their customers and the experience they have. Thank you!

The cafe was lovely after our visit to the field, with friendly staff, yummy food, good coffee, and good service. There were even some toys for my little one. The field itself is fab, with beautiful surroundings, good quality agility equipment, and plenty of space. I’ve been twice now. It would be even better with a dog poo bin in or beside the field, and bring water for your dog, though they do provide a bowl. We’ll be back.

We had a wonderful Afternoon Tea at Tuppenhurst Barn for a Baby Shower, with delicious sandwiches and gorgeous homemade cakes. Mel and her team also accommodated our special dietary requests and rearranged the date after my Granddaughter arrived four weeks early. Many thanks to them for making it work.
