The Christmas details made this stay especially lovely, from the tree and decorations to the mugs and coasters. We arrived on December 20 and got home just yesterday, after another visit to this cosy, clean, welcoming place. I think this was about our eighth stay, and I can't recommend it enough. Jayne is a delight to deal with. Parking for two cars is a real must in Whitby, and we could pick up fish and chips from Trenchers and bring them back still hot. Such a hidden gem.

We loved having a suntrap spot with parking right on site, which was an absolute blessing. The cottage is clean, has great facilities, and welcomes dogs. It's tucked away from the crowds but still close enough to walk into Whitby. We'll be back.

The bed was so comfortable and the shower was superb. The cottage was spotless and felt really homely, with a lovely spot for a short walk into Whitby. Just the peaceful, relaxing place we wanted. We'll definitely return.

We had a lovely weekend here, thanks to Jayne and John. It's a little treasure, and Whitby Harbour and the other sights are an easy walk away. We'll definitely come back.
