The breakfast had plenty to choose from, was cooked well, and the staff were happy to help with anything. Everyone was friendly, which made the stay lovely. Our room was spacious, bright and quiet, with a great view over the hills and valleys. We even spotted wild rabbits. The hotel was handy for us, just a five-minute drive from Ruthin town centre, with plenty of pleasant walks nearby. We also took the fairly direct path to the White Horse and would recommend it. I’m sure we’ll come back when we’re next in the area.

Michelle and Jim go out of their way to make guests feel at home. This lovely B&B is in the Welsh countryside, in an old railway station that’s no longer in use. They can collect walkers from different spots on local routes and take them back the next day after a generous breakfast. Packed lunches, evening meals and drinks are available too. Don’t miss it!

We felt like part of the family here. Everyone was so lovely and friendly, and our children adored Mr. Lilly the dog 😊 The breakfast was good and the rooms were fine. I hope we can come back.

The hosts were so welcoming, and even drove us to the wedding we were in town for. The place has a lovely family atmosphere, the room was very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent.

I spent around a week and a half here and really enjoyed the peaceful setting and views. The accommodation is lovely, and the owners made me feel welcome. Michelle’s cooked breakfast was wonderful.
