The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and we’d happily come back. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, taking time to share their local recommendations. The sunset spot they suggested was a 10/10. We also tried the private cinema room in the evening, and they went out of their way to make it a great experience. Breakfast was outstanding, with lots of fresh, homemade food and excellent service. We’ve already recommended the stay to friends and family.

Breakfast was the standout for us, everything was made from scratch, beautifully presented, and tasted incredible. We were blown away. The guest house is carefully decorated and our room was exceptionally clean. From the time we booked, Jeremy and Tomas were wonderfully hospitable, with suggestions for restaurants, local attractions, walks, and more.

The Beam room was lovely, especially the cosy sitting room beside it, which looks out over their gorgeous garden. Every detail feels thoughtfully chosen, and the decor is tasteful. Tomas and Jeremy also gave us plenty of ideas for places to see, nature walks, and a fantastic vintage furniture warehouse. Breakfast alone would have made the trip worthwhile. They make everything from scratch, including bread, gluten-free bread, yogurt, sunflower seed or peanut butter, and dried fruit. Tomas’ dried Clementines were scrumptious, and it was all delicious. The breakfast table was laid out beautifully too, as the photos show. This place has been lovingly put together, and that care made our stay wonderful. We can’t recommend it enough and will definitely return.

Aviemore is right in the Center of Rye, with paid and free parking nearby if you’re driving. The guesthouse’s beautiful decor captures Rye’s artistic feel. We enjoyed good food around town, but the homemade breakfast at Aviemore each morning was in a league of its own. Add the warm welcome and lovely atmosphere, and our stay became the highlight of our weekend away. Looking forward to returning soon.

The suggestions from Tomas and Jeremy made for three wonderful days around Rye, and their restaurant recommendations were excellent. They were attentive and professional, with so much care. We needed a break and are really glad we chose the Aviemore. Our room at the top of the house was gorgeous, spotlessly clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The bright, private dining rooms were a lovely setting for fresh, delicious breakfasts. We fell for the decor and calm, welcoming feel as soon as we came in. Huge thanks to our hosts for making our August stay so special.
