Premier Inn Manchester - Swinton

I handle accommodation payments at my company, and two employees stayed at this hotel. The service overall was extremely poor. Getting in touch is very difficult: there’s no email address, and phone calls take an excessive time to get answered. Communication is one of their weakest points. I also found the front desk service very disappointing. The receptionists were rude and unprofessional, seeming unwilling to work. They repeatedly say “hello, hello, hello” as if they can’t hear, without letting the other person speak. It feels disrespectful and is very frustrating. They should add an email address to the website and train reception staff to provide more professional, respectful service.

The welcome was friendly and the rooms were clean. There were no USB charging points in the room, which was disappointing, but the staff lent us an adapter. The No8 bus stops right outside, runs roughly every 15 minutes and gets you into central Manchester in about 20 minutes.

For what we paid, it was good overall, and getting into Manchester was easy from just outside the centre. We arrived late and there’s a pub downstairs. A group of drunk lads greeted us by trying to pressure us into giving them a lift, so keep that in mind if you’re arriving late.

Zoya and the team have always made me comfortable, looked after me, and found the best room for me. I’m very impressed. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are extremely polite. They went above and beyond. It’s also very quiet, with soundproof windows. Thank you, Zoya and the team.
