The setting is lovely, and I do think the management is trying, but I can’t recommend this place. If getting good sleep on holiday matters to you, you probably won’t get it here. The beds were awful, sagging, and I could feel the springs. Rats ran back and forth in the ceiling all night. For cleanliness, all the pillows should have pillowcases, and they didn’t.

The full English breakfast was good, and the washrooms were clean and updated. It’s a comfortable B&B in a picturesque spot just outside Salisbury. The 15-20 minute walk into town through the water meadow was lovely, though it may be a bit much for older guests. The pub at this end of town closed early, at 9:30.

A little gem tucked away very close to the cathedral. Parking is tight, but breakfast was great.

The place has a quirky, quaint feel, right by Salisbury meadows. There’s a beautiful pond and weirs, and next door is a lovely 12th century Inn with original arrow slots. The building is all on one floor, though there’s a very large step at the entrance. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable, but passers by walking in front of the window caused some noise. Breakfast was fine, if not very substantial, and served in the early slot from 0700 to 0830. Parking was a problem. There were only one or two spaces on the road, so leaving meant walking several minutes with our luggage. Luckily, it wasn’t pouring rain. The area is beautiful, with a walk through wet meadows into town taking about 12 minutes.

The owners are lovely, and the beds were superbly comfortable. I’m vegan, and this was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had outside my own home. My son loves meat, and his breakfast was perfect for him too. They put so much effort into making the night a great one. Amazing hotel.
