The food was plentiful and perfect, and the shower was wonderfully powerful and hot. The bed was comfortable, and the room was warm, though the rooms are a little tired and could use an update. There were tea and coffee facilities but no milk, and one biscuit packet was missing. I found an empty packet on the floor by the bed. It was a surprise find, very close to the A38 near Saltash but in a surprisingly quiet spot with lovely views. This was a last-minute Valentine's Day getaway, and I'm glad they had rooms available. We might book it for our 12th wedding anniversary party later this year.

The staff were friendly, and the food was generally good and plentiful. We booked an overnight stay in a pet-friendly room, but it wasn't the four-star experience we expected. The room was very tired and needs updating. Paint was chipped on the skirting and tabletops, the table felt sticky, the curtain tieback was loose, and there were holes in the bath panels. There was no bathroom radiator, so the room was really cold. The shower was just about adequate.

A great value country getaway, with rooms that include a great breakfast. The food and accommodation were both great, and the owner and staff made us feel very welcome. In the middle of winter, it was just the cosy pub and restaurant you would imagine.

I travel for work a lot, and every so often you find a little gem. My stay at The Crooked Inn was one of those times. The staff were great, the food fabulous, the night comfortable, and breakfast great too. Highly recommended.

Lunch has been excellent on the few times I've been. Fresh food, generous portions and a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly, and it's easy to reach from the motorway, not far from Saltash or Cotehele.
