The beds were very comfortable, though the pillows weren't. The bathroom was really outdated and awkward for anyone with limited mobility. The shower was attached to the bath taps, and you had to hold it while washing. Getting in from the car park is also a long walk, which could be difficult for anyone with walking problems. For the price, and with the use of the hotel's facilities, it's a must. The staff are really lovely, and I'd highly recommend dinner there. It's excellent food, three courses for £13, and half price for children.

The apartment has a lovely setting, with the sea right in front, and the space is just right. But it needs some attention. The toilet was leaking two years ago and still is. The shower door is broken, so someone has to close it from the outside. All the radiators are very dirty, and there are just two teaspoons for seven people, same as last time. The doors are hard to lock, also a problem two years ago. A few days into our stay, we found one of the doors unlocked, which wasn't okay. Some work needs doing, though otherwise it's a lovely place to stay.

These apartments are right on Sandown seafront, next to the town centre, shops and Sandown Pier. Plenty of places to eat nearby, at all kinds of prices. Ideal spot.

Lovely apartment, but my one big complaint is that the fridge is far too small for eight people.
