The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Our rooms were comfortable, clean, and tidy, and breakfast was great. We stayed for a weekend and would happily return.

The town’s a little run down, but don’t let that put you off. The B&B is highly recommended. The host was very friendly, and breakfast was really good, cooked to order so it arrived hot. My room was clean, as was the bathroom, and the shower was good. It had all the usual tea and coffee making facilities.

Nicola and Angela were absolutely fantastic. It’s in a very good location, and the guesthouse and breakfast were both brilliant. We had two great days.

It’s hard to find fault here. The place was friendly, clean, and comfortable, and the room rate was very good. The cooked breakfast was excellent too.

We had a generous choice at breakfast, and the cooked option was one of the best I’ve had. We mostly saw Stuart and Winston, the most famous chocolate lab I’ve ever met. We stayed for four nights at the end of July and could happily have spent the whole holiday here. I’d recommend it to everyone and would stay again. The one snag was that our room was basically one space with a double bed and bunk beds. It would’ve been nice to have another room for the kids so we could close the door. Parents will understand 😊
