Gordon Hotel

Breakfast was a highlight, with food cooked to order, a starter and a proper cooked meal. They also have vegetarian options. Parking is free right outside the hotel, and we’re already planning to come back. We’ve visited Scarborough several times, and this is the best hotel we’ve stayed at. The owner greeted us with a complimentary brew when we arrived, which made us feel at home straight away. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable, with a nicely made-up large double bed and two single beds. The bathroom was spacious and had excellent water pressure. It’s in a great, peaceful location within walking distance of local attractions. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere was great throughout, and the hosts were lovely. Really brilliant hotel, with a great breakfast and a nice little bar for a pleasant evening.

Lawrence and Tina made us feel welcome on our first visit, which turned out to be a memorable one. The hotel is kept very clean and to a high standard. Our room had everything we needed, including tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water for me, since I don’t drink hot drinks. Breakfast was great and definitely filled us up for the day. It’s just behind peasomme park, and we had a fantastic time with the ten-minute walk to the North Bay seafront.

The owner was welcoming and really helpful. It was my first stay, and the rooms were clean and nicely presented. Great value for money, and I’d highly recommend a visit. I’ll be staying again.
