The Cordelia has become a regular choice for us on our trips to Scarborough, and we’d happily recommend it. The owners run it as a family business and look after their guests so well. We get a parking disc from them, which is a real help, and the location is great, close to the cliff lift and just a short walk to the beach and other amenities. Rooms have lovely bedding and towels, and breakfast is well cooked with good ingredients, enough to set you up for the day. You won’t be disappointed.

A bus stop nearby and a delicious Italian restaurant at the top of the road made it easy to get out and explore Scarborough and the surrounding area. The owner was welcoming, lovely to deal with, and helpful and responsive before we arrived. We stayed for a week in a comfortable, well-equipped room, and had a good choice at breakfast. It was served only between 8:30 and 9, which makes sense for a small hotel, though we skipped it a couple of times because we like a lie-in on holiday.

Rebecca made us feel so welcome, and the rooms were spotless. We’ve just got home after a really pleasant stay at this bed and breakfast. Breakfast was lovely too. We’d recommend it and hope to come back before long.

We’d happily stay here again. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, and breakfast was the best we’ve had. Rebecca was a wonderful host.
