I arrived at 2 pm and left by 6, choosing to drive the three hours home after the wedding rather than spend the night. As a woman travelling alone, I didn't feel the room met basic safety or cleanliness standards. I wasn't expecting luxury for the price, but I did expect to feel comfortable. The window couldn't be closed, let alone locked from inside. It's small, but I still expect the option to close and fasten it. The dust set off my allergies, especially around the TV and bathroom extractor fan. The walls were filthy and the carpet was in disrepair. The room needs a serious clean. Every paying customer should be able to expect a basic level of comfort and safety.

I slept well here, which is unusual for me even at home. The shower room had been freshly refurbished, and there was a new TV. The room was tastefully done in modern colours, with hot drinks and toiletries included in the price. For a budget hotel, it's good value and handily placed near the amenities. Cristina and the manager were both pleasant and helpful. Thank you, I'd happily stay again. Happy customer.

The staff we met were very friendly, and we'd happily return. It was just right for what we needed, with brilliant rooms for such a cheap price and a great location: a short walk from the town centre, but quiet enough that our sleep wasn't disturbed. We appreciated the thought put into the extras, including tea and coffee, shampoo and body wash, towels, thick duvets and two pillows. We slept really well. The bathroom was extremely small, though it didn't affect our stay. We were initially confused because room 1 is next to room 13, while room 14 is beside rooms 2 and 3. Once we realised the numbers had been swapped around, it was easy to find. We'd stay again and would definitely recommend it.

The young woman at reception was very sweet. I chose this place because it was only a few minutes from the bus station and I had an early coach pickup. The room was OK, and I locked the door, but I was glad to leave the next morning. The area didn't feel very nice, and it seemed more like a hostel than a hotel. As a woman travelling alone, I wouldn't recommend it.

I had the booking confirmed three months ahead, with all the confirmation emails and access PINs, but they cancelled less than a week before the stay, citing “unforeseen circumstances.” Someone on their contact number told me they'd overbooked and that other guests had paid more, so my reservation was cancelled. I find it disgusting that booking early and paying less meant we lost out to last-minute guests who paid more. The customer service adviser was rude and communicated poorly. I'd strongly recommend against booking with this hotel.
