Breakfast was great, and we had a very nice stay at this bed and breakfast. We were on the top floor, reached by a steep climb that could be a problem for anyone elderly or infirm. They supplied a free parking permit, which was a lovely bonus. One thing to know: unless you’ve paid online, they only accept cash or cheque, no cards.

Getting booked in was incredibly easy, just a phone call the old fashioned way, and our room key was waiting when we arrived. It’s a lovely traditional B and B, spotlessly clean, with a fantastic shower and a great breakfast. Very handy for visiting Beer and the surrounding area. Give it a try!

The breakfasts were fantastic, and the rooms are delightful. wendy and David are such warm, welcoming hosts, and made all of us feel at home. I’d highly recommend Colebrooke House if you’re staying in beer.

Everything was exceptionally clean, and I’d come back. We were disappointed there was no fruit on the second morning, and plain yoghurt would’ve been nice too. Dave wasn’t very helpful when we asked for another duvet.

We had a comfortable room in a very clean B&B, in a good spot in Beer. The cooked breakfast was fantastic. I’d highly recommend it for a weekend in Beer.
