We had 15 of us, from 13 to 80, at Cleeve House for a family celebration weekend, and it was a lovely place to gather. The Library became our main hangout, while the grand Hallway and its open fire were perfect for relaxing. We used the bar room for games, and the house gave us plenty of room for a 1920s murder mystery and a big game of hide and seek. The commercial kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cater for ourselves, and the bedrooms were comfortable and had useful things like hairdryers. It rained for much of the weekend, but we still got a sunny afternoon on the patio. Simon was easy to reach, and he and his family were around whenever we had questions. A great chance to stay in a grand manor house.
