We were in the area for a wedding and spent the weekend here. Sonny looked after us so well. I wish we’d had another day and night: the weather was beautiful as we left, and we could have enjoyed the outdoor seating, then the inside bar, and another night in that very comfy bed. We’d definitely recommend Heatherlie House and its fabulous host. Five big fat stars!

Our host made our wedding anniversary feel really special and couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. It’s a lovely period hotel, with a spacious, very nice room and a small ensuite. We also really enjoyed both breakfast and the evening meal.

This was our fourth year visiting this lovely hotel, and Sonny welcomed us back warmly. He, his family and the staff always go out of their way to look after us. We really appreciate their friendly help and attention, which make every stay special. We had another very enjoyable visit. Thanks to Sonny and the team for their wonderful hospitality. We came for two nights to see friends and family in the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh. Sonny welcomed us warmly, and a roaring log fire was waiting in the foyer. Our room was nicely decorated and warm despite the snow outside, and the bed was very comfortable. We hadn’t booked dinner, but they were happy to make us a meal. It was lovely, and breakfast was really good too. A welcoming stay, and we’ll definitely be back. The Kennedys
