There’s plenty to look around in this lovely little old village, from small business shops to pubs, restaurants and cafes. Shanklin chine and the miniature village are nearby too, so make sure to check them out if you're visiting.

The sweet shop has loads of classic sweets from childhood, whatever your age. It's a lovely, quaint little village, and there's even a Christmas shop open all year round!

It was quiet when we visited in October, with mostly retired people about. The village is pretty, with places to eat and gift shops. We found a good deal at the Rock shop: boxes of fudge were less than half the price of the same item in a shop at the Needles!

A really charming village, well worth a visit. The thatched roofs give it a fairytale feel, and there’s a lovely mix of quirky gift shops, cafes and pubs along a beautiful stretch of road.
