The Belmont Hotel

Linda has created a really memorable place to stay, and we’d gladly come back. The hospitality and comfortable atmosphere made the visit feel special. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and nicely presented, and the rooms were beautifully kept and spotless. There are thoughtful little touches throughout The Belmont Hotel, and you can tell a lot of care goes into everything.

The balconies are such a nice place to sit with a coffee or a glass of wine, and Shanklin’s amenities are close by. The pool area is peaceful, with lovely plants and relaxing music, and the little boutique has some lovely things. There’s so much charm here, and it feels nothing like a standard hotel. No children or pets made it blissfully relaxing for us. Linda is a lovely owner and keeps everything pristine. She makes the best breakfast I’ve had, and I’ve never been disappointed by it. Des is a welcoming host, and we enjoyed chatting with him in the beautiful bar. The rooms are lovely and have everything you need. It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location, and really does feel like a home from home. I’d give it ten stars if I could.

Breakfast was amazing, and I couldn't find fault with the place. The people were so nice and made me feel at home. I loved the hotel and hope I get to stay there again sometime.

We had a swim among all the lovely plants and flowers, then enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast with lots to choose from. The owners gave us such a warm, friendly welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we’d definitely come back to this lovely little hotel.
