Burnie and Leslie gave me such a warm welcome and made sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable before they left. I’d booked this as working accommodation and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I had a great four nights. My twin room was a good size, with a door out to a veranda, a feature only in certain rooms. It was lovely sitting there watching the boats go by. The shower was hot and powerful, the room clean, and the hotel itself is lovely, with old photos and some history of the building. Breakfast had good options, and the beach is just two minutes away on foot. There’s plenty of parking too. I even parked a coach outside the front door 😬. I’ll definitely be back!

Bernard and Leslie made us feel very welcome, and the beds and bunk beds were all really comfortable. Breakfast was great, traditional and hygienic, and the food was good. I’d recommend staying here to anyone.

The rooms were lovely, the breakfast delicious, and the hotel view was beautiful. Lesley deserves thanks for breakfast. Bernie and Lesley were warm, welcoming and absolutely funny from our first conversation, and saying goodbye felt personal. The place really felt like home. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your time with them, and I’d return the next time I visit isle of wight!

The children loved having a bunk-bed sleepover, and we all enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, and the location was handy for major attractions. Bernard and Leslie were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

We had a great five days here. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and there are lots of places to eat out nearby. The hotel is close to the beach and makes a handy base for exploring what the island has to offer. Our room had a wardrobe, drawers with plenty of space for our clothes, a big comfortable bed, a TV and tea-making facilities. Breakfast was very good, with a nice choice of food. I’d recommend the hotel.
