Julie and Chris are such charming, attentive hosts, and they leave you wanting for nothing. The lodge sits in the private gardens of this wonderful home, so it feels wonderfully peaceful and tucked away. Woodpeckers' b&b is a truly beautiful retreat, and after staying there, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

The breakfast was 5 stars, and the beds were super-comfortable. The place is decorated with great taste, and you can see how much care and dedication went into turning that part of their home into a luxury B&B. Julie was extremely helpful throughout. We had a fantastic stay at Woodpeckers B&B, a real lesson in hospitality.

We came back for our second stay and had another lovely time. The island and accommodation are absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was amazing. The hosts were the most welcoming I've ever met. Perfect all round, thanks for a lovely stay.
