Huthwaite Snug

Breakfast was amazing, and the hosts made us feel so welcome. The place has been renovated to a high standard, and was clean, comfortable and relaxing. It's a lovely base for walking, with welcoming country pubs nearby. We had a great little getaway and hope to come back one day. Definitely recommend!

The breakfast room with its log fire was a lovely place to start the day. We had croissants, butter, preserves, juice, coffee and fresh soft fruit, more than enough. In the separate wing used for the B&B, our pretty bedroom had a very comfortable queen-sized bed, nice bedside lights and views across fields with horses. The modern bathroom had a large bath in the middle and a walk-in shower with wonderfully hot water. Tea-making things were set out on a large landing tray, and one day I was given gluten-free cakes. The farmhouse has been beautifully renovated, and the hostess couldn't do enough for us. It's so quiet and relaxing. We certainly hope to return.

Lisa was very helpful, and her breakfast was lovely. We had a fantastic two-night stay, with a big comfortable bed and a bathroom that had everything for a relaxing visit. Thanks again, Lisa. We'd definitely stay here again!

Lisa made check-in timing easy to arrange, and the Huthwaite snug felt just like the home-from-home we wanted. It was spotless, really stylish, and that bath was especially lovely. Would happily recommend it.
