The private pool was a lovely bonus, somewhere to put your feet up after a day out. There are also plenty of footpaths close by for a walk, including if you've brought a dog. Town is near enough for shops and meals out, but the cottage still feels tucked away in a peaceful corner of Kent. Inside, everything was clean and tidy, from the spotless bathroom to the well-equipped kitchen. The owners had left thoughtful touches and carefully chosen provisions, which made us feel very welcome. It's a lovely cottage in a picturesque countryside setting.

Cherry is a high-spec cottage for two, with everything we needed for a comfortable, home-from-home stay. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and available whenever we had a question. We also had our own times to use the lovely indoor pool, which was a great bonus. The coded locked gate made us feel very safe. We'd thoroughly recommend it.

It was a bit of a mixed stay. The Hayloft looks good and has all the modern conveniences, and Andrew was friendly and very helpful. The grounds are lovely, with well-kept landscaping, a swimming pool and little paths to wander along. Our dog had a great time playing with their two dogs. There were some issues the booking agent, The Plum Guide, hadn't mentioned. The ground floor isn't suitable for anyone over 5'8". The downstairs bedroom has no window, feels stuffy, and you have to duck to get into it. The stairs are very steep, and I had to hold on while coming down. There's also not much natural light downstairs. My wife and I bumped our heads several times. The place could use a thorough deep clean too, as there were a lot of spiders.

Damson Cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners were so friendly and did all they could to make our stay a good one. The gardens are peaceful and beautiful, and we could use the owners' indoor pool. Highly recommend.
