I felt very comfortable travelling on my own as a woman, and would recommend the hotel. The room was quiet, the bed was really comfortable, and room service is available. I had a good shower in my converted roof room, which was bright, fresh and felt very clean, with Velux windows. There was a smart TV with Netflix, a safe, tea and coffee, still and sparkling water, an iron and board, temperature control and L’Occitane toiletries. The hotel is reached by a long drive and has plenty of parking. Check-in was quick and friendly. The brasserie had a good dinner selection, and breakfast included a buffet with hot and continental options, plus other items cooked to order. Service was good.

Dinner on Christmas Eve and lunch on Christmas Day were both exceptional. We were there on the two-night Christmas package, arriving on Christmas Eve and checking out this morning, and the service was excellent throughout. Everyone was professional and attentive. Sophie and Grace looked after our table so well and are a real credit to the team. Our suite was very cold at first, but within minutes of telling reception, someone brought us an oil-filled radiator. It soon warmed up.

The grounds are a real treat for wedding photography, with lovely tucked-away spots and distinctive settings. The “Island,” summerhouse and historic moat, along with the gardens and stylish interiors, give photographers and videographers plenty of backdrops for candid shots and portraits. I work as a Hogarths Solihull wedding photographer, and this is one of the West Midlands’ most charming and individual wedding venues. It has a relaxed elegance and a warmth and character that make the day feel special. The staff are friendly, attentive and professional, and handle the setup and service with care. They helped create an easy, stress-free atmosphere for the couples and guests at the weddings I’ve seen here. The venue works for both smaller gatherings and larger celebrations, and there’s room for personal styling and touches so each wedding can feel different. It’s easy to understand why couples take to Hogarths Solihull so quickly. Photographing all the love, laughter and memorable moments here is always a joy. Dawn & Carl x

We had our Indian wedding here in May 2025. The staff were so helpful and accommodated what we needed. The venue was perfect, and I’m glad to see they’re hosting more Asian weddings too. Beautiful grounds and venue. Highly recommend.

There were 17 of us for a work meeting and lunch, and we had a great time. The team at Hogarths handled everything well, even when we threw a couple of curveballs their way. The rooms were warm, comfortable and well appointed. We’ve used Hogarths Stone Manor before, and would definitely recommend the group to anyone looking for a good meeting venue with food.
