I was in Ilfracombe briefly for business and stayed at Rocky Cove B&B. The owner gave professional, courteous and friendly service, and a beautifully presented, comfortable suite was ready when I arrived. Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent. If I’d been visiting as a tourist, the location would have been perfect.

I couldn’t stay on the date I’d planned because I became suddenly ill, but I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The owners were personable, friendly and helpful throughout the booking, with customer service that was 10/10. They didn’t make me feel like just another tourist. The B&B is right by the seafront, with a large car park opposite, shops and the beach close by, and the harbour a short walk away. I booked directly for a better rate and to support a local business. The great reviews are a credit to the owners.

Breakfast was good and set us up well for the day. My wife and I had a lovely stay, and I felt well looked after from the moment I arrived. The hosts were friendly and attentive, with useful tips for local attractions and places to eat, plus detailed information on several parking spots near the B&B. Our king room was clean, cosy and nicely decorated, with plenty of tasteful artwork, soft linens, and a selection of teas and coffees. The bed was especially comfortable. I slept better than I had in weeks!

The host made us feel very welcome, and the room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was proper, cooked to order, and the B&B is ideally placed for restaurants and bars around the harbour.

Nicki and Jonah were terrific hosts, always ready to help. The rooms at Rocky Cove B&B are beautiful, thoughtfully laid out and very comfortable. The bus stop is practically outside, while the harbour and ferry pier are about a five-minute walk away. A perfect place to stay in Illfracombe, we’d highly recommend Rocky Cove B & B.
