The Barn Hotel

After arriving at Birmingham Airport, I stayed here for one night. The staff were brilliant about arranging a late meal, which I’d reserved, and were so friendly when I arrived. The room was lovely, new, and comfortable, and the place had a warm, relaxed feel. Excellent experience. I’ll be back!

The rooms were good quality and the bed was comfortable, but two basics let the stay down. The room had no shower gel, and despite the advertised electric car charging, there wasn’t any. I had to make other arrangements that evening so the car would be charged for the next day.

Really comfortable bed, and breakfast was amazing. The hotel was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the staff were lovely and helpful. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The £25 nightly charge for a dog felt steep next to the otherwise reasonable room price, and dogs can’t go into the main restaurant, so we missed out on breakfast. That’s useful to know if you’re travelling with a pet, though it wouldn’t put me off recommending the place. We had a lovely two-night stay at the Barn Hotel at Berryfields. The accommodation was clean, attractive and comfortable, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We also enjoyed the café and little shop on site. Wi-Fi worked really well, which mattered because there’s no mobile signal in the area. We’d happily recommend it as a peaceful, well-kept place to stay.
