We only spent one night here, but it was a really pleasant stay. The room was comfortable and very clean, and breakfast was included at the Clifton next door. We enjoyed it, and the staff there were great. Comfy stays is right on a Main Street with loads of restaurants and takeaways to choose from. We’d happily come back.

In the morning I found large marks on the sheets, which looked like they might be vomit. It was horrifying to see. We’d arrived late the night before, and the room had seemed nice at first, though a little small. I told management, and they offered a free night, but I live 400 miles away, so that doesn’t help much. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was vile, with mould all around the skirting boards. We arrived Saturday and had to pay before we’d even seen our rooms. When we got back at 8, I knocked on the housekeeper’s door to ask for my key, and she was very rude, saying it was in the door to room 1. I’ve never seen a dirtier room in my life. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy 😫

I walked in, turned straight around and drove back to Stoke. At £60 a night, I’d expect them to pay me to stay there.
