We’ll be back. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious, with eggs from the B&B’s own hens. Strawberry Cottage was a little gem: our room was quiet, the beds were very comfortable, and it looked out over a beautiful garden.

The cottage won us over completely. It’s a beautiful little place, full of history going back to the 1500s, and we fell in love with it. The owners gave us a wonderful welcome, the beds were divinely comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Everything about the stay felt wonderful. I’d happily book another visit. Even my coat seemed to want to stay there, so I guess we’ll have to plan another trip. Thanks so much for such an amazing stay.

The one thing we didn’t care for was the quality of the pub next door. The B&B itself is comfortable, in a delightful setting, and serves an excellent breakfast. If you want hotel-style facilities and service, this probably isn’t the place; for a pleasant B&B, it’s a definite yes.

The owners were ever so friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was just the right size and easily fitted our huge bags. Strawberry Cottage is also conveniently located for the station. We had an excellent stay.

The room was nice and had a lovely garden view. It was a quiet place to spend the night, and the breakfast was fantastic. I’d definitely stay again.
