Bayona Guest House

We’ll definitely come back. The rooms were clean, had everything we needed, and the location worked perfectly for us. We had three rooms for six of us, and the whole stay went smoothly. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was delicious with lots of choice.

The owners made the whole place feel comfortable and were polite, lovely to chat with, and a big part of why the stay was so good. Breakfast each morning was the best I’ve had, with cereal, toast, cooked food, tea, and coffee. Evenings were quiet, and the parking was great. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the bed was more comfortable than my own. Everything we needed was provided. I honestly couldn’t fault the stay at all, and would tell anyone looking for somewhere to stay to come here. 10,000/10!

A large TV, toiletries, tea and coffee supplies, and a comfortable double bed were all provided. There’s room to park three guest cars out front. The room, bathroom, and shower were small, though, and getting there meant climbing two narrow flights of stairs. The breakfast was much like the rest of the place: fine, but nothing to get excited about. I had one egg, a sausage, bacon, beans, and half a tomato. I’d call this guest house adequate. It works if you just need a place to sleep, but I wouldn’t choose it for a special holiday treat.

We’ve just got home after a really relaxing stay. The guest house was spotless, and breakfast was piping hot and lovely. Lynn and John were attentive, kind hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Lynn even sang while cooking and checked if we wanted more toast. We couldn’t find a single fault and will definitely return. What a fantastic couple!
