John makes you feel comfortable, and the thoughtful little touches in the rooms were lovely. I only stayed a couple of days and wished I’d booked for longer. The rooms were clean, cosy and warm even though it was chilly outside, and the breakfast had a good range of hot and cold choices. I think it’s really good value when you take everything into account. I’d happily recommend this B&B and stay here again.

The owner gave us a lovely welcome. The room was clean, with lots of thoughtful little details. There was tea and coffee in the room, plus cake and shortbread in the living room.
