The Maltings

My colleagues, friends and I come here nearly every day. I’ve also had family meals and birthday celebrations here. The staff are lovely, and the food and drinks are fairly priced. The food is brilliant and you get a lot for your money. I’m always at the pool table, and the sofas are so comfortable I’ve nearly fallen asleep on them. Nice atmosphere, and the locals are lush.

We ate here several times while staying in St Florence, and every meal was outstanding. The steak with sauce is honestly the best I’ve ever had. Their homemade curry is delicious too, and the fish and chips are to die for. They serve these lovely curved chips that we called dippy chips, and I’ve never had them anywhere else. The staff are very friendly, and there’s a lovely beer garden where kids and dogs are welcome. Would highly recommend.

We came for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The staff gave us such a warm welcome and couldn’t do enough, even helping carry our bags up the stairs. The food was fantastic, the rooms were great, and breakfast was included and beautiful. My husband loved the pool table. We’d definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back.

A friendly pub with good food, and I especially loved the waffles. There’s a pool table that brings in lots of people. The rooms are a good size, and breakfast was just right with a choice of options.
