The gardens were a delight, and the views over St Ives were terrific once the mist lifted. We booked this holiday at short notice and were really pleased with the quality of the accommodation in the Annex, the best we’ve experienced with HF. Tree damage had made the main entrance inaccessible, but walking around the back was no big deal. Gosha is a great house manager, and all her staff were lovely. We really appreciated being allowed into our accommodation in time for the Scotland v France home nations game, especially with a score of 50-40. The walks and walk leaders were great that week, much appreciated, and highly recommended.

We had great sea views, and the food was really good with lots of it. The room was comfortable, though the shower was tiny. The price for our January week was great.

The rooms were comfortable and had ensuite facilities. It’s a large house with an annexe and good views of the coast and surrounding countryside. There’s a free car park, and the location makes it easy to walk into town or to the local train station.

Megan, the bar manager, really stood out. She was professional and welcoming, and it was clear she genuinely cared about the customer experience. The atmosphere was great, service was fast, and everything felt well organized. Places like this thrive because of people like her. Highly recommended!
