Ten Ocean View

We loved the Zennor room, especially the lovely outlook over the beach and church. It was spacious, clean and nicely equipped, and the situation near both the coastal path and town centre worked perfectly for us. Amy was a helpful host, and the stay was excellent value. A note for anyone checking reviews: some older information seems out of date, so check the official website for what they currently provide.

Amy and Toby made us feel very welcome during our four days in St Ives. Breakfast was a real highlight, with food cooked to order and brought to us by Amy, plus warm homemade bread and a self-serve selection of cereal, fruit, tea, coffee and fruit drinks. Our room looked out over the beach and St Ives, and the bay window had binoculars for watching the sea and land in the distance. We also had ensuite facilities and, to our pleasant surprise, a mini fridge. The guest house itself is lovely, with four bedrooms, and the short downhill walk to the seafront was handy. We needed to check out early, but they let us leave our luggage in the house until it was time for our train. Those thoughtful touches made the stay a pleasure.

The breakfast was delicious and brought straight to the room. We had fantastic service and a great view, and I'd happily recommend this B&B. When I come back to St.Ives, I plan to stay here again.

A lovely, well placed spot to stay, and the room decorations suited the occasion nicely. The owner responded when we raised an issue. There was hair left in the bathroom, though, and one morning we had no hot water because of a boiler problem.
