Best Western Hotel de Havelet

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and they booked a taxi back to the airport for me on the spot. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. I hadn’t realised how much rest I needed until I spent a couple of hours in the pool and sauna. The hotel sits on a hill above St Peter Port, with views across to Herm and Sark. It’s easy to walk into town from here, and it’s very quiet, so you can just chill. I arrived at 10.30am and was able to check in because my room was ready. If it hadn’t been, I could still have used the pool and sauna while waiting. Breakfast was lovely, with a wide buffet selection and cooked dishes you could order. The scrambled eggs were delicious. It’s not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I’ll stay here again when I come back. Thanks for a delightful break.

We came for a four-day New Year break and had a great time, including a fun New Year’s Eve disco in the downstairs bar with plenty of room to dance. The hotel is on quite a steep hill, so getting up from town might be tricky if you’re not very mobile. We enjoyed the walk as exercise after all the food. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. The food was beautiful, especially breakfast, and our room had a comfortable bed and a good shower. There’s also a lovely little pool, hot tub and sauna. Everything was perfect. Can’t recommend it enough.

We stayed in the accommodation and found the rooms clean and good quality. The food was excellent, and the staff were so warm and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. What a lovely hotel.

The hotel, our room, and the pool and spa area were spotlessly clean throughout. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The food was very good too, with a good range of choices on the menu.
