The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the food was great. Most of all, I appreciated how kind the staff were. I accidentally left a personal item behind, and one of them went out of their way to find me and return it. I'd love to come back. Thanks again!

My three-night stay for the 2024 Guernsey marathon turned into four when my ferry was cancelled. The staff were helpful and managed to fit me in for the extra night. Breakfast was very good, and the service was top notch. I liked the location too, about a 10-15 minute walk into town with easy access to buses. I'd gladly stay again.

The hotel has an interesting history, and its old-fashioned feel suits it. There are postcards for 30p at reception, and real waitstaff take your breakfast order. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and the heated pool was a lovely way to end the day. The decor isn't modern, but that feels fitting here. My room was too warm for comfortable sleeping, though, and the street noise was a bit disturbing. Air conditioning and some window refurbishment might help. Breakfast was acceptable, just not memorable. The mushrooms were a little limp, and the bacon could have been crisper.

We spent a week here in peak July season and had a wonderful time. The family-run hotel has plenty of charm and history, and our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. There was room for a longer stay, with comfortable furniture and enough space for a couple. The staff made us feel at home, and the pool was clean and refreshing. Our room and the cleaning service were excellent throughout, so we had a comfortable, hygienic place to unwind. Breakfast was included and had a good range of choices. We enjoyed eating in the scenic garden and taking in the surroundings. Thanks to the whole team for such a memorable stay. I'd highly recommend it for its history, comfort, and warm hospitality.
