Cheffins at the Beaumont Inn

We went last night for my birthday 🎂 It felt cozy and welcoming 😊 and the food was absolutely delicious. I’d definitely recommend it 💯

The fixed-price menu was great value, with delicious steak and sea bass. We also started with excellent arancini and crab pâté, though we were too full for dessert. We stopped for lunch after spotting the pub and restaurant from the St Aubin/St Helier bus. The bar where we ate feels lovely and homely, while the restaurant is very elegant, and the service was personable and good. It’s handy for buses and near the beach, but the road is so close that eating outside would be unpleasant. That’s a small drawback in an otherwise very good visit.

The interior and atmosphere at the Beaumont Inn really impressed us when we finally went in. We’d often passed it on the bus from the airport, then called in while walking back from St Aubin to St Helier. The staff were friendly, and although we didn’t eat, both the menu and restaurant looked to a very high standard. The facilities and the rest of the building were spotless. We’ll definitely return on our next visit.

We brought two friends this time, including one with a Sulphite allergy, and the staff took care to check that her chosen dish was free of Sulphites. We really appreciated how considerate and helpful they were, and all four of us had a fantastic meal. The atmosphere was excellent too, so we’d certainly recommend the restaurant. We’d eaten here a couple of years ago and thought the food was excellent then as well.
