This little B&B is a real gem, in a historic house with beautiful surroundings, and we’ve already planned to come back next year. On our second visit we booked the two-night retreat, which was wonderful. Ian made us a delicious three-course Indian meal that I’ll always remember, and Vicki’s treatments were out of this world. We were welcomed so warmly, slept in comfy rooms, and loved Ian’s home-cooked food, including homemade bread and biscuits. The treatments were magical.

The area is lovely for walks, and there are some excellent local pubs nearby. Ian and Vikki, who run the B&B, were welcoming and accommodating all through our stay. The rooms were clean and well kept. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

I loved relaxing in the hammock outdoors, surrounded by nature. It’s a peaceful, lovely place, with a warm atmosphere and a very clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and the service was top level. If you have a massage while you’re there, it’ll make you feel like you’re flying!

What a lovely home, and such wonderful people! We had a great time, and Ian and Vicky were so friendly. Being able to bring our dog made it the perfect place for us. The massages were perfect, unlike anything I’d had before. Thanks so much, Ian and Vicky!

Brookhouse worked perfectly for bridal preparations. The owner was welcoming, and there are some lovely spaces in the house with lots of natural light, just right for wedding photography.
