We'd all three happily come back with our families. Meadow View was spotless, and Linda sent clear directions and a thorough guide to the house. Milk, tea, coffee and sugar were provided. It's right by the George Hotel, the train station and the car park, and only a five-minute walk into the centre.

The host was super helpful, and we were glad to find this nice house in such a fabulous location after our original booking was cancelled at the last minute. We had one private parking space and left our second car in the reasonably priced car park opposite. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. One small issue, the plants overhang the path to the door, so we got wet after the rain. I'd recommend staying at Meadow View.

They couldn't get the terrestrial TV working. We also knew the PIRs were house alarms, but they tried to make us think they were CO2 alarms. They wouldn't give us the alarm code.
