I was most impressed by how clean everything was. The room looked newly decorated, with no dirt or marks, and it was cleaned to a high standard every day. It was spacious and airy, nicely decorated, and the bed and quality bedding were really comfortable. We booked at the last minute, and this was easily the best place we’ve stayed. There were more facilities than expected tucked behind what looked like a cupboard, and the staff were lovely and made it feel like a family place. I’d recommend it and hope to return.

The room was clean, a good size and had a comfortable bed. The owners were pleasant, and I’d gladly recommend the place. It’s close to the high street pubs and places to eat, with plenty of free parking. The smoking area is sheltered from rain and wind, too. The decor is done to a high standard.

The owner was a lovely host who clearly cares about guests. I’ve never felt this comfortable somewhere I don’t live, it really felt like a clean, welcoming home away from home. There’s no food, but there’s a hidden mini kitchen, and shops and restaurants are so close that it wasn’t an issue at all. Having so many food choices actually made the stay even easier. 10/10, wow.

Staff were helpful and pleasant, and there’s ample parking in a good location. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and lots of pillows. The mini kitchenette, fridge and microwave were a welcome bonus. The modern bathroom had a great shower and a heated, illuminated mirror. WiFi was fast and free. I’d have liked a desk lamp for reading or working. Apart from that, I couldn’t fault the room.

The staff were lovely, the place was spotless, and there are nice finishes throughout. They even put out snacks for the first night. I’d happily go on about it all night. This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, without a doubt. Great location too, so if you’re nearby, I really recommend this gem.
