Stone House Hotel

We had my daughter’s wedding reception here on the 21st February after another major hotel in the area let us down. We were so glad we chose this one. The staff went out of their way to make the celebration memorable, and the whole experience of staying and dining there felt special. They had the happy couple’s suite beautifully prepared, along with a private room for the wedding party. Ganesh and his restaurant team deserve a special mention for the lovely food and polite, attentive service. Thank you all. I strongly recommend this hotel.

I’ll definitely book here again for business trips in the area. The hotel was fabulous, and the room was decent, decorated in a classic cottage style. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, with delicious food, fair prices, and decent portions.

The Indian food is the highlight for me. The flavours were bold and authentic, and each dish was beautifully presented, full of spice and clearly made with care by people who know their craft. It’s the kind of food I’d happily travel for. The Stone House Hotel in Stone, Staffordshire was a real hidden gem and a welcome surprise. From the moment you enter, the decor feels elegant, warm and full of character, balancing classic charm with modern comfort. Service was attentive and welcoming without being overbearing, and the whole place had a relaxed, high-quality feel. Whether you’re staying the night or just coming to eat, it delivers on every level. Wonderful venue, gorgeous surroundings, exceptional food. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The restaurant is the real star, so make sure you try the Indian menu. My Lamb Rogan Josh was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, with modern cooking done skillfully and carefully. The hotel itself is lovely and well run, with clean, spacious rooms furnished tastefully.
