Twenty Seven

It’s an easy walk into the centre from this lovely, well cared for B&B overlooking the sea and harbour. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything we wanted. Breakfast is ordered ahead from a great selection, and there were lots of other lovely homemade goodies. What a great place to stay.

Morag was very accommodating when I spent the weekend at the BB with my wife. I had a shirt that needed ironing, and she was more than willing to help. The rooms were clean and tidy, with en suite showers, and breakfast had a really good choice. The location was handy for the local supermarket. We had a very nice stay, and I’d definitely stay again.

Margo was a very welcoming host, and we had a great chat about the similarities and differences between Scottish and Irish Gaelic. It’s easy to walk into town, with free parking and a good room. There was a bit of noise between rooms, but not much and not late. The restaurant recommendation, The Crown, was good, and the full Scottish breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommended.

The house felt welcoming, and our room was clean and tidy. Margo kept up her cheerful welcome throughout our stay, and served excellent breakfasts. She also shared a few helpful tips on eating out and visiting the Isle of Lewis.
