The views from the lounge and bedrooms are breathtaking, and we can’t wait to come back. Breakfast was one of the best Scottish breakfasts we’ve had, with friendly, welcoming and professional service. Dinner was just as memorable: the seasonal tasting menu changed each day, and both the wine pairings and bespoke cocktails were excellent. We spent two wonderful nights here, a perfect quiet escape from the hustle and bustle.

The staff struck a lovely balance between being friendly and formal. We spent three nights in a beautiful part of the world we hadn’t visited before, with service that was truly exceptional. The only thing limiting how many delicious dinners we could have in a row was my bank balance.

From meeting us in the car park to our last walk on the secluded private beach, the whole stay felt magical. The room was beautifully appointed, the food was fantastic, and the service was attentive without intruding. We were there for my wife’s birthday last week. Highly recommended.

The location is second to none, and the staff are professional, attentive and friendly. We’ve visited eight times since 1989, most recently for two nights. The food is fabulous, especially the tasting menu with wine pairing. Every time we leave, we promise ourselves we’ll return. It’s our favourite place!!!
