The rooms were roomy and airy, and the place was wonderfully quiet. I spent two nights at Stone House B&B while going to a conference at SIlverstone, only a 15-minute drive away. The landlady was friendly and great in the kitchen. The full English costs extra, but it’s well worth paying for. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it.

We had a lovely twin room, spotlessly clean, with luxurious linen. The curtains are a little thin in midsummer, though they provide eye masks, so it wasn’t much trouble. Breakfast comes with cereal, toast, tea, juice and yoghurt; cooked food costs extra, which makes sense since plenty of people don’t want or have time for it these days. There’s just one bathroom and loo for up to six guests, so I can imagine rush hour being tricky. The hosts were very welcoming, and it’s a characterful B&B in a lovely village. We wandered around the village and church in the evening, then walked six minutes to the local pub for a pint of Hooky. We’ll stay again.

John kindly drove me to the wedding venue, and Susie cooked a delicious full English breakfast at the end of my stay. They were superb hosts, very welcoming and flexible about what I needed. Thank you both.

We really enjoyed our stay in their beautiful home. Susan and John were so welcoming, helpful, and lovely to deal with. We’d happily stay again anytime we’re in the area and highly recommend them.
