During our visit to Wales, we had a lovely two-night stay at Gwrach Ynys Country Guest House. Our room was immaculate and had every comfort, breakfast was first class, and Deborah was a lovely host. The house is exceptional, with a great location and magnificent views around the garden and countryside. I’d definitely recommend it for a stay near Harlech. Many thanks to Deborah and the other lady who served us breakfast each morning.

The surroundings are lovely and quiet, the rooms were immaculate, and Deborah is the loveliest host. It’s also very conveniently located. I’d happily stay there again, highly recommended!

The countryside views from our big, spotless room were lovely, and breakfast was cooked and laid out so nicely. My wife especially enjoyed the porridge. We felt at home from the moment we met Deborah, who was friendly and knew plenty about the area. It’s only about a 10-minute drive to the beach or Porthmadog. We had a brilliant weekend and would stay again if we’re nearby.

Breakfast had plenty of choice, and Lina served it with a smile and made sure we had enough. Deborah also came in each morning to greet everyone, which was a nice touch. The accommodation was very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and well looked after. Deborah gave us a warm welcome too. It makes a great base for visiting Cadw sites, Portmeirion and Snowdonia National Park, and we’d happily recommend it.
