4/10
The place is spacious and the toilets were very clean, but I had a poor experience during my meeting. The female staff member's frosty greeting wouldn't make me want to return, and the hot chocolate we were served was like brown water. It was a big contrast with the Holiday inn around the corner, where people greet you with a smile and are helpful.
8/10
The service was friendly, though there wasn't much interaction, which is what you'd expect with this kind of hotel. The room was spacious and very clean, but the towels were threadbare. The cooked breakfast was dire: cheap sausages left a powdery feeling in my mouth, and the scrambled eggs were premade. The bacon and croissants were nice, at least.
8/10
The room was a bit pokey, and the A/c had a slight smell, but it did the job. Service was great, and they were happy to accept our dog. It would be great if there were bins for dog 💩.
10/10
A handy stopover just off the M5 or A303, with good prices, breakfast included, and a dog-friendly policy. The room was a little cold, and I couldn't figure out how to work the air con or heating.
10/10
The room was cold and the bed was small, but everything was clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent, and the room had a good shower and bathroom. There's also a small bar by reception, but it was adequate.
