The children loved the games room and cycling around the huge, enclosed sweeping driveway. We had a fantastic week exploring the area, which has so much to offer, and Orchard Cottage was a perfect base. It's beautifully presented, decorated for Christmas, spotless and incredibly comfortable, with real care in the details. This was our second visit and we're already hoping to come back soon. Rose was a fantastic host as always, welcoming and thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The cottage really feels like a home away from home.

The kids had a great time with the pool table, darts and basketball. The cottage was warm and cosy, and we felt right at home. It's so peaceful and quiet, with beautiful nature around and a lovely night sky. Fantastic place and views. We'd love to return.

We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage. It's spotlessly clean, with comfy beds, an amazing games room, a basketball hoop in the garden and a summer house too. We'd highly recommend it and will be back.

A very relaxing self-catering cottage, well equipped and somewhere I'd definitely stay again. There were sheep with lambs in the next-door field, and fresh eggs were available at the end of the drive.
