The rooms were clean and lovely, the bathroom modern, and the shower nice and hot. But after booking online and paying in full, we returned from dinner to find a letter asking for another £35 because the owner said the website had got the price wrong. She called the police when I refused to pay for the website's mistake, and they told her it wasn't our responsibility. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone. I'll be contacting Trading Standards about the letter and handwritten note demanding more money. Don't stay here, she'll try to get extra money out of you.

The room was comfortable, though dark and a bit cramped. The bath with water jets was fine, nothing special. We were charged extra after the price was changed when we arrived. The host took my card to run it through the machine, and since then my bank keeps sending notifications to check that I authorized the payment.

We booked this for my birthday, hoping for a nice little getaway, but the woman was rude and then asked us for more money. The room had pee on the floor too. I wish I could give it zero stars. Please don't fall for this scam.

There was safe parking on site, and waking up to birds singing in the garden was lovely. The room was just right and very clean. Marilyn and her daughter made us feel so welcome and couldn't have done more to make our bank holiday visit better. My husband and I had the best night's sleep, and the B&B felt like home. We honestly felt we'd made a friend, and we're definitely coming back next year. Can't recommend it highly enough, it was a perfect break.

The rooms were clean and well looked after, and the area was so peaceful. It was a delight to meet Marion and her dogs. Hope your back feels better soon, Marion, and don't overdo the physio exercises again! :)
