London Beach Country Hotel

We had full body massages in the spa, then relaxed in the pool and sauna. The staff were friendly and attentive, the menu was good and the food tasty. We stayed two nights in the room with the four-poster bed, which was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean, with outstanding views over the golf course and beyond. Would highly recommend this lovely hotel if you want to unwind and get away from the world. Just wonderful. Thank you.

We had lunch in the conservatory last week, and the whole experience left me disappointed. The lovely garden and golf course view was obscured by a large bramble running the length of the window. Inside, the carpet had crumbs and food debris from previous guests, the closed green blinds were mouldy, and the room looked generally untidy, with a dead plant pot containing what looked like a dead Orchid and clutter in various areas. The lunch itself was mediocre. I've worked in hospitality, and cleanliness and efficiency are basic expectations. These issues could have been dealt with at little or no expense. It wasn't clean or efficient, and I wouldn't be in a hurry to return to The London Beach Hotel or consider membership there.

I booked one nite for 14 Feb at £187. On arrival, I was told breakfast wasn't included, so I paid for two breakfasts. The next day I was charged for two glasses of orange juice too, which is unheard of. That made one nite over £200. There was no atmosphere, and a pint and a coffee came to nearly £13. This isn't the London West End. I felt ripped off.

We had afternoon tea here for a family member's birthday and were surprised to get one each 😱. It looked wonderful, tasted gorgeous and was well worth the money. Would highly recommend.
