Days Inn by Wyndham Chesterfield Tibshelf

The staff were very pleasant and attentive ❤️. Our family room was on the ground floor, with a double bed and two singles; one single can tuck under the double to make more space until you need it. It had a little desk, kettle with hot drink options, a hairdryer, an open wardrobe, and plenty of space, hangers, and shelves. The bathroom had a large shower, no bath, and plenty of hot water with great pressure. The room was modern and very clean, and the air-conditioning worked quickly and well. It was also very quiet, with no disturbance from other rooms or traffic.

Sue and Leslie, who I think were on reception during my stay, were so friendly and welcoming. The staff do an amazing job. I was impressed by how clean, quiet, and comfortable the hotel was, especially as I’d never stayed at a services hotel before. It was better than some higher-rated places I’ve stayed in, and such good value for money. I’d recommend it anytime.

We got what we needed for the price: a warm, friendly welcome when we arrived and a spacious room with comfortable beds. Breakfast is available through Costa: buy a £7.50 voucher at WH Smith and they give you £10. It works for Maccies too.

For our brief overnight stop on the way north, the room was great and served its purpose well. We booked a family room, which made it very good value. The hotel was really clean, the beds and linen were very comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but Days Inn at Tibshelf surpassed all my expectations. Sue and Ellen were lovely and clearly hard working.
