The room was large, and the shower had strong pressure. But the carpet was visibly dirty and badly needed a deep clean. The washroom was just as dated as the rest of this standard Premier Inn, and needed major redecoration. The tap barely ran, though I don't know if that was intentional. Very dated overall.

The food was excellent, and restaurant service was very good. We had two lovely short breaks here. The young barman Rhys deserves a mention. He was such a lovely young man, always smiling and happy, and couldn't do enough for us. The young girl was completely different. I complained on Sunday because she seemed more interested in stroking dogs than serving customers, and I never saw her wash her hands.

Rachel was so kind and helpful when she heard we were going to a musical for my daughter's birthday. The front desk staff were amazing, and the Beefeater food was lush with fantastic service too. We had a great stay and will be back. Thanks for everything!

We had a lovely view over the seafront from our clean, comfortable room. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the staff were friendly. The station is an easy walk away, as is the theatre where we saw a show. I'd definitely stay again.

The seafront was in tip-top shape, and the beach-front restaurant is well worth a visit. The locals were friendly and helpful, and the pubs were lively for that time of year. We had a lovely week away. What more can I say? Shot hit.
